"A crow flew by " (cut)
Andrew Wyeth (1917-) "Wyeth is searching after the human being. His works is an expression for a strong empathy in the human beings he is in contact with. This empathy can be compared with Rembrandt at his best, which is un - normal in the time he lives in. This become even more clearly when we compare the representation of the figures with the ones we find in van Gogh, Matisse or Ce'zanne. Here we find humans as decorations. They are made as flat people with eyes that doesn't lead us to any of their counciousness. They were afraid that they would make them to alive and vivid, because it would then stop being Art. With Wyeth the gazes leads us into a living brain to a human who thinks... in other words: un - Arty!!!"
